Rapid process of erosion- rapid eroding
Slow process of erosion- slow eroding

examples

some examples of rapid process of erosion one example is earthquakes, they are an example of rapid process of erosion because they happen normally very fast and when it happens it is very dangerous. another example of rapid process of erosion is volcanoes they are very dangerous once they erupt and it is very unknown once it happens. landslides are also an example of rapid process of erosion because they are also very dangerous. all these examples are rapid process of erosion because they all happen very rapid and once they happen that are very dangerous.

details- volcanoes

  • Volcanoes are formed when magma from within the Earth's upper mantle works its way to the surface. At the surface, it erupts to form, lava flows and ash deposits. Over time as the volcano continues to erupt, it will get bigger and bigger.
  • the types of volcanoes are : Shield, Cinder Cones & Composite Cones. The earth ejects lava, rock fragments, hot vapor and gases during volcanic eruptions
  • The most active volcanoes in the world are  Kilauea volcano on Hawaii is the world's most active volcano, followed by Etna in Italy and Piton de la Fournaise on La Réunion island.

examples

an example of slow processes of erosion is weathering, this is a sl ow process of erosion because it happens pretty slowly and it is not quiet dangerous

details- weathering
  • Weathering is the breakdown of rocks at the Earth’s surface, by the action of rain, water, extremes of temperature, and biological activity. It does not involve the removal of rock material.
  • There are three types of weathering, physical chemical and biological.
  • Erosion is the process by which soil and rock particles are worn away and moved elsewhere by wind, water or ice. Weathering involves no moving agent of transport.
